Ilayathapathy Vijay's 59th movie 'Theri' is an tamil action - romantic movie direction by Atlee Kumar. The movie will have Vijay in lead role and other cast are yet to be announced.
It was officially announced that the 59th Film of Vijay, also called as Vijay 59, will be directed by young director Atlee of hit movie Raja Rani fame, Atlee’s debut movie, Raja Rani shot to limelight. Atlee has worked as an assistant director to ace director Shankar during Vijay’s Nanban.
George C Williams, who started his career with Raja Rani, is likely to handle camera in Vijay 59. Sreekar Prasad, is likely to handle editing and Lalgudi Ilayaraja, the art works. Nayanthara might play the lead female role opposite Vijay in the Atlee directorial.
GV Prakash Kumar will be doing music for this movie, Atlee and GV Prakash are joining after the success of Raja Rani.
Currently Vijay started the shoot for his 58th (Vijay 58) movie directed by Chimdbudevan. As soon he finishes his work for Vijay 58, he will be starting to work with Atlee. Reports say, Vijay will be seen as an honest cop in Atlee’s movie.
Vijay 59 is an special movie for GV Prakash, as it will be the 50th film of his career.
